Fated to the Villainess: A Reincarnator’s Redemption

Rakesh_0535
Arin Devain was just another young man from Mumbai, trying to make sense of a life full of regrets—until a fatal accident sent him spiraling into a world not his own. Reborn into the noble House of Devain in the ancient kingdom of Eldoria, Arin awakens to a world where every soul bears a Samsāra Shakti—a power rooted in their past lives and shaped by personal truth. At age fifteen, these powers blossom as mystical branches from a mythical tree, each entirely unique. Arin’s gift, Śapathajīvi: The Vowbound Chronicle, allows him to reshape reality itself through unbreakable vows—but the price of breaking one is devastating. Now engaged to Lady Evelyne Valmont, the infamous "villainess" of a story he vaguely remembers, Arin realizes the tale is far more complex—and far more dangerous—than the one he knew. Evelyne, framed for treason in the past timeline, carries a sorrow deeper than the crown she was meant to wear... and her power may be tied to an ancient force predating even the world’s rebirth. As forgotten legends resurface, fractured dimensions stir, and cursed artifacts call out from the ruins of lost time, Arin and Evelyne must confront not only fate but the very structure of their reality. In a world where power is earned through understanding, and karma breathes beneath every choice, can they rewrite the end of a tale already told? In Eldoria, fate is not fixed—it is forged.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.
