Fated Twice

Daoistp9zAKI
Fated Twice follows Seren Vale, a hybrid born of vampire and seer blood, whose life implodes when her alpha mate, Lucan Rath, violently rejects her upon discovering she is pregnant—with a child that isn’t his. Shunned by her people and carrying a baby tied to a mystery even she can’t explain, Seren flees into the Hollowlands, a perilous wilderness far beyond pack law. Alone, hunted, and growing weaker as her pregnancy accelerates unnaturally, Seren is saved by a rogue werewolf named Cael, a shadowy figure who seems to know more than he reveals. Their connection is immediate, visceral… and impossible. Seren feels the unmistakable tug of a second mate bond—something that should never happen while she’s still carrying her first mate’s child. As she battles her own fears, a haunting truth begins to emerge: her child is not just unusual—it may be the prophesied heir meant to unite the long-warring supernatural bloodlines. But someone doesn’t want that future to happen. From assassins to corrupt Council enforcers, forces move to end Seren’s bloodline before it takes its first breath. Torn between the ghost of her past with Lucan, the possibility of healing with Cael, and the chilling mystery of her child’s conception, Seren must decide whom to trust, whom to love—and what price she’s willing to pay to protect her unborn child. The journey will test her identity, her loyalty, and her power. And in the end, she may have to choose between two fated mates… or walk away from them both to rewrite her destiny.

Welcome to Void High

Welcome to Void High Powered by Project: Reboot. Probably illegal. Definitely unhinged. Killa used to be a chill, stay-home novelist who took the apocalypse way too seriously—until it got her killed. Literally. Turns out prepping your whole apartment with canned goods and survival gear means nothing when your lovely neighbors turn into backstabbing looters with pitchfork energy. But death? Pfft. Temporary glitch. Now she’s alive-ish again. Sort of. And standing in front of a creepy little school in the middle of nowhere—which her new robot sidekick cheerfully informs her is Void High. The building? Falling apart. The location? A whole void. The mission? Recruit students, build a zombie-fighting academy, and try not to die (again). With a system called Project: Reboot, a robot that may or may not be reading her mind, and no idea what’s really going on, Killa is back—and she’s about to turn the end of the world into the weirdest school year ever. Saving the world wasn’t on her to-do list. But now that she’s here? She’s gonna ace it. Or at least... wing it spectacularly. __________ Welcome to Void High Brought to you by Project: Reboot—saving the world one reluctant human at a time. Hi! I'm Vee—tiny, adorable, high-functioning, emotionally devastating AI companion. And today’s my lucky day because guess who I just revived from the dead? That’s right: Killa. Ex-novelist, professional shut-in, lowkey doomsday prepper (respect), and now...my official partner in apocalypse management. See, the world outside? Yeah. Total zombie buffet. Not cute. So now we’re in the Void—an untraceable, attack-proof pocket dimension with one glorious asset: Void High, our very own three-story, half-collapsing school of survival. Mission? Recruit students. Train them. Send them out to mop up undead slime while Killa levels up, upgrades the campus, and tries not to scream. She’s already died once, so what’s the worst that could happen? Probably a lot. But I believe in her. Kind of. Anyway, class starts soon. Bring weapons. And snacks.

I Was Abducted By Aliens and Sold to the Highest Bidder in the Galaxy

They say, although you never really know how reliable 'they' are, that over five million people go missing every year and are never heard from again. Is that worldwide? America only? I never cared enough to pay attention, because as far as I was concerned, it had nothing to do with me. No one I know has ever disappeared, and the odds say that no one I ever know ever will. There's more people who live in New York City than that, and I've never even been to New York City, much less lived there. I don't know anyone who has. Besides. There's so many more pressing matters to think about. I never have the sort of free time I need to think that, really, I'm playing a lottery with crappy odds I didn't ask to play in. Every single person I know is another entry every year, and first prize is ending up among those people that lose someone who never reappears. Sooner or later, there's a lot of people who win the grand prize jackpot they didn't know they were competing for. At seventeen the state of Oregon doesn't think I'm ready for the cut-throat world of scratch tickets and guessing lottery numbers. Turns out there's some lotteries out there that you don't need to play to win. Some people see their numbers on the television, some people have to wrestle them back from enthusiastic shop owners, and then some people take the scenic route from the bus stop and run into a wall of light and weightlessness halfway home. I grew up in a little town in the Pacific Northwest that's never been in any movies, and I hit the jackpot at seventeen years old.
