Seventeen-year-old Kai Renner never expected his life to change overnight. On a routine walk home, he discovers a mysterious cosmic stone, its glowing surface calling to him. The moment his fingers touch the stone, a surge of ancient power courses through his veins, granting him the ability to summon great beings from different worlds and borrow their extraordinary powers. Kai is soon recruited by The Aegis Order, a secret organization of superheroes dedicated to protecting the world from those who would exploit the cosmic stones. As he trains at their academy, Kai discovers his true potential, learning to control the immense power he now wields. However, he is not the only one drawn to the stones. The Obsidian Claw, a ruthless organization of villains, seeks to corrupt the cosmic stones with dark energy fueled by negative emotions, turning their users into dangerous, corrupted weapons.
When a mission with his friends goes horribly wrong, resulting in the loss of someone close to him, Kai is forced to confront his own limitations. Stricken with grief and rage, he retreats into a parallel space where time moves differently, pushing his abilities to their limits as he trains to become stronger. There, he summons dragons, tames them, and faces the darkest parts of himself.
But as the world teeters on the brink of war between the cosmic stone users, Kai must confront the painful truth of his past. His father, once a hero who wielded a cosmic stone, died in battle, leaving Kai an orphan. With the weight of his legacy pressing down on him, Kai must decide whether he will stand against the forces of darkness or let the shadows swallow the world.
