They were engaged in that peculiar type of chess game, both concentrating deeply.
Lu Mingshu did not disturb them, standing quietly to one side.
After a long while, the Taoist nun let out a breath and picked up her teacup.
The attendant child immediately refilled the teapot.
She drained the cup in one gulp before saying, "In just a few months, there has been great progress in your game!"
The Guangling Hermit smiled, "So do you admit defeat today, or not?"
"I admit progress, but to make me admit defeat, you're still one breath short."
They both laughed.
After drinking the tea, the Taoist nun glanced over at Lu Mingshu.
"When did you take on a disciple?"
