"Was that really Riku?" asks Sora himself when John places his hand on Sora's shoulder.
"Maybe he is being controlled by someone or something," says John to Sora who had now a worried expression on his face.
"We need to find him and Kairi," says Sora as he rushes for the next room.
Once there he finds himself in a Library and he gets a flashback that wasn't his as he sees Kairi as a child with her grandmother who was reading her a story from a book.
"Is everything okay, Sora," says Donald taking him out of the flashback when Sora looks around and puts his hand on his chest feeling his heart.
"I think Kairi's family used to live here before," says Sora as Nesiara looked at the books.
"That could be true. We love to read and keep many books in our Library," says Nesiara talking about their Library in Paradise.
The exit towards the next floor was blocked and Sora says, "We can't open the door. There must be some mechanism that stops us."
"If this Library really belonged to the Crownguards then the mechanism has something to do with the books that are missing from the collections like the one over there," says John as he pointed at a row of books with a green cover but one book was missing.
"I think I saw one downstairs," says Goofy as the trio went downstairs while the Beast was glaring at John and Nesiara intensely.
"Is something wrong?" asks Nesiara as she looked at the Beast who took a step back.
"They might not feel it but you are predators not like them. You have killed many things over your life," says the Beast as the couple smiled at him.
"It seems your animal instinct is telling you to be on your guard," says John as he looked at the Beast who nods before John says, "You don't have to fear us. We are on the trio's side after all. If we really wanted to harm you, you would be already six feet under the ground."
"He is true. My husband is fast with his sword but even faster with his hands. If we really had bad intentions you would be dead as he already suggested," says Nesiara as she assured the Beast that if they wanted him dead he would be dead.
"Then why aren't you going straight for Maleficent and defeat her? Why let the boy deal with everything?" asks the Beast when both gave him a sad smile.
"If we really were to do that the hero of this story wouldn't be Sora but us and once we disappear who will protect this Universe. No one would be there since Sora never became the hero he was meant to be. We are trying our best to let Sora grow while dealing with hidden dangers," says Nesiara explaining to the Beast why she and John aren't storming the throne room and make Maleficent one head shorter.
"So you put the boy in danger just so he becomes a hero," says the Beast as John shakes his head.
"He was never in real danger. He only had the feeling of being in danger. If a mortal strike would ever get near him we would have interfered and saved him," says John telling the Beast the truth.
"If anything could penetrate his Keyblade Armor it would be either my sword or her spear. Anything else would just get dull after a while of hitting it," says John adding the key information that makes the Beast look at Sora.
"Still, he is a boy. It isn't fair that he has to shoulder the whole universe," says the Beast feeling sad when John puts his hand on the Beast's shoulder.
"He is never alone. He has friends to help him through thin and thick. If he didn't have his friends he wouldn't be able to accomplish his task. So I hope that you will be his friend when the time comes," says John with a warm smile as he looked at the trio.
"He made so many friends all over the universe. It is like a skill of his to befriend anyone and everyone if possible. I really envy him for that since I never was good at making friends," says John as he removed his hand from the Beast's shoulder.
The trio was solving the riddles of the books when they finally open the way. They all move forward as they find themselves over the room where Riku disappeared.
"If we had known that we would end up here we would have flown up instead of solving those riddles," says Donald as John smiled at him.
"It doesn't hurt to use your brain once in a while," says John as they continued on their way.
They soon arrived at the lift area and the group looked up when Donald says, "We will fly this time. It would be much of a hassle to jump from platform to platform only to get to the top."
"And I and Nesiara thought it would be useful to activate the platforms so you can use them. It seems we did it for nothing," says John as he grabbed the Beast who was confused by their talk about flying when he sees that he was slowly leaving the ground.
He soon realized that they were flying and that they weren't joking around as they reached the last platform and John put the Beast down when he says, "This Castle wasn't really made for the first and second generation of us Crownguards. If I would use my real body instead of this body-change-jutsu I never fit through those doors."
"Maybe they returned to some normal height like mine over the generations. We can't all be over 2.7m," says Nesiara as John normally shrinks his size by using the jutsu to 2.1m which still makes him a giant but he can fit through a door normally.
They reached the throne room or at least it seemed like an assembly room in which people would discuss important matters. They walked forward when they find Maleficent standing there.
"You made it quite fa-," says Maleficent when John interrupts her by throwing a Ki Ball that scratched slightly her left cheek before he looks at Sora and the others.
"This one belongs to me and Nesiara. You should keep going," says John in a serious tone as Nesiara's crimson hair was floating in the air.
"Yes, she is ours," says Nesiara in a dangerous tone as she throws her spear against a wall that revealed a secret passage.
"Are you su-," says Sora when Goofy and Donald stopped him.
They knew this voice tone from their training under Nesiara. Both grabbed Sora and rushed for the passage followed by the Beast when Maleficent wanted to stop them only to hear a Rumble go through the Assembly Room before John appeared between her and the others.
He flicks her magic attack against a wall and says, "I am not impressed."
"You will be," says Maleficent as John stomped on the ground and Nesiara's spear flew up.
He kicks it into Maleficent's direction who barely avoids it only to find Nesiara behind her who grabbed her spear and used the momentum to spin around her axes to pierce Maleficent in the back.
"How are you so f-" says Maleficent when she stopped out of fear as she looked into Nesiara's eyes which seemed to contain viciousness.
"Bankai," says Nesiara as she released a literal sun inside of Maleficent which burned her from inside out before Nesiara stopped.
"Oh, we aren't done yet. This would be a far too painless death for someone who killed almost all of our descendants," says Nesiara as before her hand appeared a green circle which she turns to the left making time run back.
"What happened?" asks Maleficent as Nesiara grabbed her by the neck and broke it killing her instantly again.
Nesiara repeated it and Maleficent returned from the death not knowing how but she was still feeling the pain in her throat when Nesiara says, "I don't like your voice that's why I took care of it. Now let us begin with the real torture. You will be begging my husband to stop once he begins."
John walked forward as he was holding a chisel and a hammer in his hands instead of a sword when Nesiara summons a chair and Maleficent was tied to it.
She was in a panic as John's eyes looked like that of a man who was on a mission for revenge. He stood in front of her when the hammer rained down upon her knees making Maleficent scream so loud that the other group could hear her in the passage.
"Should we return?" asks Sora as both Donald and Goofy shook their heads.
"We should continue going forward. We don't want to know what is going on back there," says the Beast out of all the four.
"Then on we go," says Sora rushing forward.
Back with John's torture, John placed the chisel right between the skin and the nail when he says, "We will torture you for all the Crownguards you have killed when you plunged this world with Heartless."
Then he hits the pommel of the chisel with the hammer and a scream escaped Maleficent's mouth as the fingernail dropped to the ground a bit further away.
"You will pay for this. When he hears of i-," says Maleficent as John removed the next nail making her shut her mouth.
"You mean Xehanort," says John as Maleficent was first surprised and then shocked since if they knew Xehanort and are still doing this meant they weren't afraid of him.
"You are just a puppet in his grand scheme of things. *Maleficent screams* He won't miss one little pawn. *Maleficent screams* But the boy is quite special not like you," says John as he then removed the last nail on the left hand of Maleficent when he moved to the right hand.
"Then why are you going after the pawn?" asks Maleficent as Nesiara smiles at her viciously as she took the chisel from John's hand.
"*Maleficent scream* Because it was your hands that are tainted with their blood," says Nesiara as she rammed the chisel between the index finger and the hand removing the finger from the hand.
It fell to the ground as Nesiara says, "It was you who killed them and you will be punished for it."
John continued his torture on Maleficent but before she could die he would heal her instead of Nesiara turning back time when Nesiara asks quietly, "I didn't know you were this proficient in torturing. Did you learn that while in Hueco Mundo?"
"No, Arthur was a master in it since he tortured many kinds of people some were Generals while others were only peasants. If he needed key information he would use this kind of measure to get the information he needed," says John as he continued on torturing Maleficent as he started this time by smashing her hands.
