The beasts seemed willing to follow Lin Mu's words, so he decided to let them be.
"Mmhmm. Just don't cause any trouble for the people this time," Lin Mu warned. "And don't scare Meng Bai too much either."
"We won't," the four replied in unison.
"Good," Lin Mu nodded in satisfaction.
"Can we go explore now?" Ashy asked eagerly, already hovering in mid-air.
"Yeah, go ahead," Lin Mu said with a wave of his hand.
"Yay!" Ashy zipped off immediately, with the twins following close behind.
"I'll keep them in line," Little Shrubby said dutifully before bounding off as well.
With the beasts gone and silence returning to the courtyard, Lin Mu had one more matter to attend to.
"Saintess," Lin Mu said softly.
SHUA.
A moment later, the figure of a beautiful woman shimmered into view before him, her presence graceful and almost dreamlike.
"I'm guessing you haven't had much trouble here in this world?" Lin Mu asked, noting how at ease she seemed.
