Hello everyone.
First off I would like to thank everyone that has shown this fanfic of mine so much support, it means so much to me as this was my first real attempt at a Harry Potter Fanfiction.
I know that many of you have been wanting me to continue this fanfiction, but due to a severe lack of time, motivation, drive and creativity blocks, I have been unable to do so.
Going back over everything, reading every comment that has been made about this fanfiction on, Webnovel and RoyalRoad, which are the only three websites that I am currently posting my work on. I have found and thought over numerous points many have made, and have decided to rewrite my story.
I now have a solid grasp of just what direction I want to take this fanfiction, but find that with how things currently are, it would be too annoying to do so with how the story is going.
On top of that, I have also had cases of people plagiarizing my work online, this one specifically, with them copying my longer chapters and sectioning them up into shorter chapters to post as their own in multiple chapters while scamming people to subscribe to their account.
So, to combat this I am taking a multiple step approach:
First, all previous chapters of this fanfiction I am now offering up to any other fanfiction writers who want to continue the story in their own way, Change them how you like, add to it, build from it, you're free to do as you like, as long as you give credit where it is due.
Second, as I have been doing in some of my newer fanfictions, I will be posting much shorter chapters. Originally I was setting myself a minimum of 800 words per chapter, and while I was certainly putting out more chapters faster, I have noticed that most do not enjoy such short word lengths, so my word count will be increased to 2000 words per chapter instead, for multiple reasons, one so that I will have time to write chapters, two so that I will be able to keep up a good amount of chapters, and three to make shortening chapters for plagiarists near unsupportable.
Now with all that said, I have been replanning the direction I want my fanfiction to go so I now have a solid grasp of things, there will be multiple changes and alterations from my original work, along with a few less cliches, but I hope to still make it an enjoyable story for you all to read when I start posting.
