Gavin yanked him into the corridor and gave him a withering glare.
"What exactly is it?"
"How do I get out of here? As far as I'm aware. I'm still managing two kingdoms and trying to manage another." He spoke in hushed tones, wary of the closed door.
"Look behind the bookcase; it's actually a door that leads to a portal. Simply place a leaf from one of the plants nearby and imagine yourself there. You don't have to ask; I already know it's a task that someone else has assigned to you." Gavin flung open the door and ushered him inside.
He walked in and the door slammed shut behind him, trapping him within.
"So, who are you?" Starla was reluctant.
For a few minutes, no one said anything, leaving Intervar alone with his thoughts. He swore these people were mentally insane if they preferred to be in the company of demons, but he also swore the longer he stared at Starla, the more she turned into one.
