Lu Mian stuffed things into her pocket and her fingers touched something that didn't belong to her. She took it out suspiciously.
An envelope?
Lu Mian carefully examined the envelope with her name written on it in flourishing strokes and recognized the handwriting.
It was from Director Qi.
She laughed to herself, just about to open it when a series of knocks sounded from outside the door.
Lu Mian temporarily pressed the envelope under her pillow, smoothing it down.
She walked to the door and asked in a low voice, "Who is it?"
Sikong Jian knocked twice more, "Me."
Hearing the familiar voice, Lu Mian slowly opened the door.
However, before she could get a clear view of Sikong Jian's face, a "surprise" from him disrupted her thoughts.
Leading the way, Sikong Jian barged into her room, followed by three others who all poured in.
Lu Mian paused for a good moment before slamming the door shut with a bang.
"What are you doing here?"
