Night fell silently.
Due to the strange incidents of the past and today's abnormal events, the night in Cosmos was undoubtedly quieter and more eerie than any other city Shane had ever visited.
Among the crisscrossed and disorderly buildings, though there were oil lamps and even magic lamps at work, the light that shone through the windows could not reach the streets. Instead, it randomly illuminated the walls of other buildings, narrow alleys, and deserted areas—combined with the lack of decent streets, it made everything look very strange.
And of course, no one would go out on such a night in Cosmos, let alone keep their shops open, because there was no one to take care of their business.
