Just as Shane was lost in thought, suddenly, in the temple ahead, a group of Beastman Priests roared as if they had discovered something, causing a commotion and then all headed his way.
"Eh?"
Shane snapped to attention, somewhat surprised.
Because he had the Concealment Skill, and without making himself known, he hadn't thought he would be discovered.
Even if the Beastmen were naturally sharp with their five senses, in the face of the Level 10 Concealment Skill, Shane should have even been able to hide his scent. By all reason, he should not have been so easily detected.
But then, Shane understood.
"Is it an issue with the flow of magic power around here?"
Indeed that was the case.
Due to his proximity to the Temple, the magic power that flowed outward from the Temple seemed to have reached Shane, causing a repulsion.
