Dreams faded with the early morning awakening.
He Fang stretched out her hand and grasped at the air as if she were trying to hold on to something, then opened her eyes, dazed for a moment, before turning her head to look at Qin Guanglin, who was making noises beside her.
"Dreaming?"
Qin Guanglin was getting dressed and laughed a bit when he saw her movement. "Did you dream about pork elbows or pig's trotters again?"
He Fang closed her eyes to savor the moment, then propped herself up to kiss him. "Are you going out?"
"Yeah, I've got to go to a friend's to get familiar with his wedding arrangements so I won't be all over the place later."
After standing on the floor and stamping her feet, He Fang laughed and said, "Go on then, call me if anything—do you want me to come with you to his wedding?"
"We'll see, you hurry along."
Suppressing her laughter and waving her hand, He Fang said, "Bye-bye."
