Chapter 2 - Where it all began (2)

On her 6th birthday, she was suddenly kidnapped by 5 big men dressed in black. She struggled and struggled until one of the men screamed at her and said "Shut up! Stop moving!" and knocked her out cold.

By the time she woke up, she found herself in a corner of a large warehouse with her arms and legs tied with rope. She was so scared, she did not know what to do nor what was happening. She cried and cried until she just shut off herself and dissociated herself from everything around her.

When she opened her eyes again, her facial expression changed. There is no more scared face, no more bright shiny eyes, but this cold expression and this dark and dull eyes clouded her young 6-year-old face. This facial expression is unlike any expression a 6-year-old girl can have.

This facial expression is not Azalea's. Yes, it is Azalea's body, however mentally it's not her. He calls himself Chronos. Chronos is an alternative personality of Azalea that was just created during the beginning of the kidnapping to protect the body from the hardships and memories from this kidnapping.

Chronos stayed quiet in the room and pretended to be asleep until he suddenly heard fighting noises and gunshots. He felt scared however, he felt the responsibility to protect the body from any harm so he sucked up all his emotions and tried to stay strong. This man suddenly came rushing through the door and hurriedly untied the ropes on Azalea's body with his bloodied hands. That man was successful in getting the ropes undone from Azalea's legs but when the man started untying the ropes on the arms, someone suddenly shot the man in the head and he died immediately on top of Azalea's (now Chronos) body. Chronos felt it was traumatic but he was glad that it was him who experienced him and not Azalea as he is more mature and he can deal with this situation better than Azalea who is a 6-year-old. That man who just killed someone dragged Chronos by the body's hair and said "Kid, today is your unlucky day. But welcome to the real world"

Chronos was confused, "why are you saying that? Where are you bringing me? Stop dragging me, it hurts!"

"Just shut up and watch," the man said while throwing Chronos into the room full of blood and dead bodies.

"Welcome to the real world. The world is not that beautiful and nice as you thought huh"

Chronos was frightened out of his wit's end, thinking that he and this body will die soon, his eyes wandered, scanning through all those dead bodies, and found a door close to him. Chronos said YOLO and punched the man off guard and ran for his life. The man did not follow him and told his allies to just let the kid go as the body was just a small girl.

In Azalea's body, Chronos ran as far and fast as he could. With nowhere in mind he just ran, never looking back, until the body could not take it anymore and passed out in an alleyway. Chronos and Azalea do not know how long they have passed out but by the time the body woke up, Chronos was gone as Azalea became the controller of the body.

Azalea does not remember anything, only the beginning fragments of memory about the kidnapping. She doesn't know how they got these scars and bruises on her body, she does not remember how she got into this alleyway nor what happened after she passed out during the kidnapping. This feeling of unknowing scared her, more than it ever had. She was hyperventilating and started to dissociate again until she heard a girl's voice inside her head saying she is safe now and that the main danger has passed.

Azalea does not know why she felt safe with this girl's voice, but it made her feel safe, she calmed down and rolled into a ball just waiting for rescue as her family tried to find her through any means possible.

The Lee's quickly realize that Azalea was gone and they quickly mobilize every connection they had in California to find her. However it proved to be harder than they thought, they were only able to find the warehouse she was in after 11 hours but they were too late. By the time the Lee's got to the abandoned warehouse, all they found were bodies and that Azalea was gone. The lee's continued to find her around the warehouse and finally, after another 4 hours, the guards found her lying on the ground, full of scars and bruises.

The Lee's quickly brought her home and checked on her injuries.

The doctors said her injuries are not that bad, however, they were worried about her mental state as the situation she was in is very traumatic. The doctors continue to say apply medication to her wounds and the whole family awaits her awaking.
