As Old Chu slashed out, the void itself seemed to be cleaved open. A fleeting white light flashed, and the entire left arm of a man in black, shoulder and all, was severed. The severed arm intensely radiated black light and then compressed into a small black point, vanishing instantly.
"Desolate..."
"Yan Iron? Such a rare material and you fashioned it into a vegetable knife? It's utterly a waste of heavenly resources!"
The man in black, injured, looked up and released a profoundly mournful howl of Desolate Howl. Eyes near splitting, he roared out the name "Yan Iron", obviously referring to the material Old Chu used to create the vegetable knife.
On Earth, this material was unheard of; it likely came from the stars, much like Chen Tang's Xingyuan Warblade.
This much was evident from the seemingly unremarkable vegetable knife, capable of completely severing the arm of the man in black.
