As for Fei Yang Kingdom in the past…
They were basically non existent.
The Xia Mountains' range was actually the border of Zhang Xu Kingdom in the past but some people were ordered to go there to open up the land. And through gathering the local villages and so on, Fei Yang Kingdom could be built.
Of course, their leader was someone sent from Zhang Xu Kingdom as the leader and they were under the other party.
And after the war, they have their own expansion.
Zhang Xu Kingdom expanded further to the west until it hit the mountain range and the vast desert. They had no intention of expanding further because it would be difficult to survive.
Fan Yi Kingdom expanded further to the north, essentially meeting with these northern tribes and fought greatly. They also expanded to the east until they hit the sea and built more cities there.
Wei Da Kingdom basically remained stable and expanded to all direction when they have the chance.
