"There are four of them. Irene sent them yesterday so that they could keep their eyes on me. She was afraid that I would be gone while Luca was on his secret mission," Ayana explained with a shrug.
"Four? I can't imagine how people were looking at you earlier when you arrived at the parking lot." Maria added.
Ayana let out a long breath. She then groaned as she recalled how everyone there looked at her. There were some who looked confused, some who looked disbelieving, some who looked at her with a mocking gaze, and she did not like being stared at like that. The presence of the four bodyguards was very eye-catching. Their black uniforms and neat appearance stood out among the students.
"I really wish I could turn back time and tell Nico that I'd rather wear a tracking bracelet than have to walk around like I'm wearing a neon-colored bunny suit," Ayana closed her eyes, trying to soothe her emotions which were again stirred up when remembering the torturous journey earlier.
