"It's the middle of the night," Di Mingchen looked at his watch as he lifted his hand, "Forget it, I won't go over there anymore, I'm going back to sleep."
With that, he turned to get out of bed, ready to leave.
"No way," Nangong Ran hastily got out of bed and blocked his way.
"Don't trust me?" Di Mingchen lifted an eyebrow.
"Hmm," Nangong Ran nodded honestly.
Di Mingchen instantly felt like he was led astray; he couldn't believe she didn't trust him!
"So what are you trying to say?" Di Mingchen crossed his arms with a smile, "Do you really need me to stay here in the room with you to feel at ease?"
"I…" Nangong Ran was indeed in a bit of difficulty, letting Di Mingchen go didn't feel quite right to her, not trusting him; but not letting him go – he had already said he wouldn't, so should she keep him in the room?
Sharing a room with a man was something she had never done before, damn it, it did feel somewhat awkward.
