The Grand Hall of the Palace was unrecognisable to every guest who had been there before. And not just the guests, but also to the Royal Family and the servants.
Everywhere they looked, they saw beautiful crystals, shimmering in lights, and the Hall itself seemed to have been carved inside one giant Crystal.
It was something straight out of some fantasy, but things only turned more surreal as time passed.
The House of Valois and the other four Royal Houses of the Royal Five arrived. The Demiliore Family appeared next, and people were quite shocked to find the former Deputy Governor-General of Netheria returned to her youth.
By Diana's side was her husband, the former Master of the Demiliore Family, and he too was now a young and handsome man who appeared to be in his late twenties.
It was not a place for those with average looks as their hearts would have crumbled into insecurities. Even those who were quite confident in their looks were lamenting the unfairness of God when they looked at the Demiliore Family and even their servants.
Next came the famous and most Ancient Houses on Gaia, including the Mir of Pahalgam, the Wei and the Qin of Shangri-la, and the Mourntale and the Dusk from Netheria.
Some of the Ancient Houses of Vampires and the Ancient Clans of Werewolves came as well.
After all the guests on the list arrived, the doorman announced the arrival of another group, which did not surprise anyone except for those who were still unclear about some things.
This group was comprised of all the Mortal Gods that were on Gaia right now, and without exception, every single one of them had come to this event.
This hall now hosted the most powerful people in the World, and someone like Olivia, who could have never imagined finding herself in such a gathering, was now out of her wits, and just nervously stood by Roy's side and followed him like a duckling wherever he went.
Eventually, she had to excuse herself when Rebecca took Roy with her to introduce him to the Mortal Gods who had gathered here today.
And thankfully for her, two Princesses came to her rescue and to keep her company.
She later learned that they were called Ingvild Carmilla and Helena Mourntale.
One was the ruler of the Vampires in the world, and the other was the daughter of the Head of the Ancient Mourntale Family, and they were both part of the Demiliore Family.
With them helping her greet the guests, she finally got over her fear of Werewolves and Vampires, and she even made some acquaintances.
Her position in the Eden Family was bound to rise today, and even the Royal House of Sweden was soon going to approach her to bestow her a new title.
She was happy because she realised how important these things were in their society, and it would grant her a lot more freedom than what she had right now.
This also meant that if she expressed her desire to marry Roy, no one in her family would oppose it.
Imagine her surprise when she learned that Aunt Fiona was an Auror, and not just a normal Auror, but someone who was at the Peak in this world.
Roy himself had been hiding a lot, and by the looks of the things, and how respectful the people in this gathering seemed to him, she was now a little self-conscious, wondering if her status was even worthy of becoming his wife.
Then again, with Roy's status, Lily and she now had much brighter hopes of staying by his side for the rest of their lives.
Who in the right mind in their Family would dare to refuse someone whom even the Royal Five and the Ancient Houses were very respectful towards?
By the time Ingvild and Helena left her at a crystal table in the front row, she was much more confident in herself.
A bright smile bloomed on her face when Roy and Harud approached the table.
"You hide so deep! I wonder if Lily knows about all of this?" She asked, almost grinning, and Roy sighed at her question.
Truthfully, he himself never fully realised how much power his Master held in this world. And what happened today was also a surprise to him.
"She doesn't."
"You should tell her, Roy." She advised. "It will ease a lot of her worries."
"I will," He promised her, and she appreciatively nodded her head.
The three stayed seated at the table, chatting with each other until the ceremony started.
Olivia had attended a lot of Royal weddings, but this was the first time for her to attend a wedding in the Ancient Traditions.
The moment Avirel entered the Hall, adored in a silver dress that was littered with gemstones, holding Keith's hand, all the ladies present held their breaths.
She was just too beautiful, and Keith was just too handsome.
And their mere presence demanded respect.
The Ceremony Started with the thread binding, which was performed by the Mothers of the Groom and the Bride.
It was then that Olivia finally saw Venessa Demiliore, and she was stupefied at how beautiful the Lady of the Demiliore Family was.
And how could she be a mother? She looked the same age as Keith, both in their Mid-Twenties!
Yes, she knew that the Aurors aged much slower than ordinary people, but this was just too ridiculous.
However, having met everyone today, Olivia decided to pay all her attention to Cultivation. And she already had the person in her mind to help her out with it.
She glanced at Roy and smiled before returning her eyes to the Platform.
When the pair took their Vows, her heart felt a little too sweet, and warm tears slipped out of her eyes that she immediately wiped away.
Avriel and Keith looked so happy with each other, and the way they smiled at each other was simply breathtaking.
Olivia stole several glances at the ladies of the Demiliore Family, especially Keith's senior wives, and she always found them smiling and cheering.
They got along so well with each other that it was truly a mystery, but this also gave her some hope.
Maybe she had Lily would be just like them, living harmoniously and like sisters and be Roy's wives at the same time.
Her silly self had not even realised that her simple crush on Roy had now turned into love in just a matter of a couple of weeks that they had spent outside the Academy.
Perhaps, it was because the uncertainties that surrounded their future had all been brushed away now.
Whilst Olivia was lost in her own thoughts, Roy was busy paying attention to his mother, who was clearly unworried watching the man she loved taking another wife.
She was even happily chatting with the ladies by her side, even shared a few laughs, and she even brightly smiled at him when she caught him looking her way.
After the Ceremony finished, the Ball started, and Keith and Avriel danced together at the centre of the Hall.
Everyone laughed when as soon as their dance ended, Lady Kiara stepped forward and invited her Sister-Wife to a dance, and watching the two ladies dancing was quite heart-warming.
One by one, the guests approached the dance floor with their partners. And at the same time, for those who stayed seated at their tables, the meals were served.
Olivia was debating if she should ask the boy she loved for a dance, but to her glee, Harud openly pushed Roy to take her to the floor.
"If you don't invite her to a dance, then I will."
She giggled when she caught a slight blush on Roy's face, and then amusedly smiled when he stood up to invite her to a dance.
"May I have this dance, Princess?" He asked like a gentleman, and Olivia stood up like a lady and curtsied.
"You may, Master Roy." She playfully said as she placed her hand in his hand.
At some point, during their dance, Alana sat at the Piano and started playing it, and the already romantic mood turned even more sweet under her melody.
Seeing the gentleness in his eyes, Olivia found it very hard to look away, and it was the same for Roy, who was feeling more and more compelled towards the girl in his arms.
The two did not even realise when the Music took charge of them, playing with their emotions, and when they returned to their senses, they were already kissing each other, just like all the other couples on the floor were kissing their beloveds.
He was a little panicked in his heart, but after observing the blush on her cheeks, he did not pull away and kissed her again.
Far away, Fiona and Harud were laughing as they watched the two kiss each other.
"Alana is truly terrifying." The young Mir reverently said, and Fiona giggled some more.
"That's true. And I will thank her for doing this."
"Fiona!"
Suddenly, a young girl, who was around three or four years old, with pitch-black hair and dark blue eyes, came running over, holding her skirt.
This girl was the younger sister of Benjamin Angelini and the daughter of of Damien and Danielle Angelini.
"Yes?" Fiona lovingly knelt to pick her up in her arms, and the young girl giggled merrily.
"Have you seen Ben?" She innocently asked.
Fiona scanned the Hall but did not find the Heir Angelini.
"I am not sure. Do you know where he went?" She turned to the boy by her side.
Harud shook his head, but before young Daenerys could pout, a sweet voiced sounded out from behind them.
"He's sneaked out to have a race against the friends he made today."
"Kiara" The little girl became excited when she saw her sister.
"Come." Kiara took her in her arms and then planted a kiss on her cheek. "Want to dance?" She knowingly asked, and the little girl nodded her head, becoming more excited.
Harud and Fiona laughed some more when they saw Kiara take the little girl to the dance floor and twirl her around, which elicited giggles from the little girl.
Even Roy and Olivia stopped to watch Daenerys' dance, and like everyone else, their moods brightened up even more.
There was just something special about this day, and everyone who was present there was never going to forget it for as long as they would live.
And for majority of them, it was the last time they were seeing the Demiliore Family in this world.
Even Roy and Olivia would not see them again for a long long time.
