In the morning, as usual, Akira worked himself intensely until he reached a strength that no man had reached. Akira was impatient because he needed rest 3 days ago, so he couldn't afford to wait any longer and started training. His body still ached, but it wouldn't stop him from doing his training.
Regardless of oddities in his immortality, Akira seemed to grasped that immortality didn't mean resorting in unlimited stamina, it just kept him alive and unscathed without worries.
After some time, Rozori came to Akira and called for him while he was doing his 1,000 push-ups. Akira immediately jumped up and stood up, wiping his sweat with a towel on his shoulders.
Akira asked what was wrong, and Rozori answered, "I need you to help me with something!" Rozori panted after searching for Akira.
"Help what?" Akira inquired while slurping a protein shake.
"I want you to help me keep an eye on someone." Rozori then asked Akira to follow him, but before that, he needed to wear some clothes and take a bath.
Rozori then waited for Akira.
23 minutes later, Akira finally finished what he was doing. Akira followed Rozori to help him out.
Upon reaching the door, Rozori opened it. Akira saw 2 little girls playing with their toys.
"Meet Yao and Tao, I want you to keep an eye on them." Said Rozori.
"I'm babysitting now?" Turned out, that Akira was commissioned to babysit 2 cute little girls that were twins.
"No, well yes, I'm trusting you for this." Rozori trusted him to take care of them.
"Where are you going? Are they your little sisters?" Akira questioned Rozori.
"First of all, I'm going on a date and I can't be late for the schedule. And second, no, they're not my sisters, they are orphans that I picked up on the streets and I took care of them by bringing them here," Rozori explained.
"Where is Volts when you need him?"
"Unavailable. Contacted him still no response. Welp, it's nice of you to help me and I must go, see ya."
"Hold on a sec," Akira grabbed Rozori by the shoulder, "How can I tell the difference between them? Which's Tao and Yao?"
Rozori pointed at a girl with brown braided twintails, who was Yao, and the brown-black braided twintails, Tao. Unknowingly, they possessed the main ability at 9 years old. Currently, they had no control over their powers and were often troublemakers for Rozori. Rozori also said they liked to play with fire and were often dangerous.
When Akira inquired about the main abilities that troubled Rozori, he received a simple yet intriguing answer: "Ghost." This response sparked amusement within Akira, piquing his curiosity further.
"Ghost is a fat full of information that we don't know of, we suspected it of some kind non-biological but also not paired to any systems. Even in any compendium of system's main abilities, this one remains a mystery."
Rozori proceeded to explain the complex abilities possessed by Tao and Yao. Tao had the power of possession, allowing her to pass through and inhabit anything or anyone. As a ghostly presence, she gained control over the minds of others, manipulating their every movement. With her ghostly influence, she could delve into their thoughts and emotions, even manipulating them to feel sadness, anger, or depression. Additionally, Tao had the ability to switch between different hosts without causing harm or involving unwilling victims.
On the other hand, Yao possessed the ability to teleport to a transdimensional world, a pocket dimension that coexisted with the current reality. Within this pocket dimension, she could move freely while remaining undetectable to those outside. When she spoke from the pocket dimension, her voice could be heard, but her physical form remained unseen. Yao demonstrated the capability to bring objects with her into the pocket dimension, and when she returned, those objects reappeared as well. Navigating through various realms and locations, Yao essentially had the power of teleportation, requiring a spirit radar to locate her accurately.
In summary, Tao's abilities allowed her to possess and control others as a ghostly presence, while Yao possessed the power to teleport to different realms and areas through a pocket dimension.
They could both fly and pass through objects.
"That's all I got for you, well, enough wasting time for me. I entrusted them to you." Rozori in a blink teleported to see his girl.
"Guess I have to take care some rascals in your stead huh..." Akira muttered whilst looking at them looking at Akira curiously, "As of now on, I'll be taking care of you two. I'm Akira keita, your new caretaker."
They then called him by a cute nickname, "Big Brother Akira." Akira smiled and felt happy just by looking at them. His heart fluttered. For the first time he felt the responsibility of an elder brother.
After that, they gave Akira some candy, Akira ate it and commented on how delicious it was. Then the other one gave him a toy. A jack in the box was the toy. Akira then played with the jack in the box by rotating the handle. The instrument was kind of annoying, and then they went further away from Akira by taking cover and covering their ears.
The Jack in the box started playing more annoying and menacing music, over time it continued, it exploded. Akira's face was black and creepy, which made them laugh hysterically.
"Little brats!" Akira shouted, annoyed of their silly pranks
Akira now knew why Rozori was troubled by these two little rascals. Akira stood up, and they couldn't control their laughter because his expressions were too funny along with the black painted face.
Akira approached them, and they stopped laughing and said sorry. Akira then made a funny face, and they laughed again. Akira was happy to see them laugh. Akira just realized he had a big brother vibe now.
Yao and Tao then gave him a flower on his head and used face paint. Akira's face was covered in cosmetics that girls would wear. Akira looked in the mirror and saw that he looked hideous. The blue sparkly lipstick, the white and red cheek paint, it was as if he was a clown. They then started messing with his hair with a comb, renewing his hair.
When Yao and Tao were finally finished and called him a princess, Akira squinted his eyes in disbelief while looking at a mirror. Akira was cosplaying as a princess, wearing a cute-looking dress they made him wear. An elegant white dress, sparkling with beauty, and a hideous clown man wearing it.
"Ugh, I hope no one sees me in this state. Give me break, can't they at least try to be gentle with their make-ups? They almost poked my eye with a powder brush." Akira sighed in resignation, defeated by their silliness and mischiefs.
Akira hoped that this would be over soon and would never babysit again since he had no experience and because he had no sister or brother.
"Hey, Akira. Rozori told me to bring y-"
Volts suddenly came out of nowhere. He visited him because Rozori called him to check on him and gave them breakfast along with lunch.
Akira locked in.
Volts' eyes stared awkwardly at Akira with an awkward silence within the atmosphere. Yao and Tao were hiding while Akira just stood there looking at him with a hideous clown face and a pretty dress. Volts was standing there looking at him up and down while holding a paper bag filled with food.
Gently placing the paper bag on the floor, Volts left immediately like nothing happened.
Akira just stood there frozen for someone to witness such monstrosity. His eyes were twitching. As Yao and Tao came out of their hiding places, Akira slowly turned his head around, looking at Yao and Tao with a twitching eye.
Meanwhile, the misunderstanding about him was seen by Volts.
"The world is sure a strange place... Is this what they call dark secrets in the world of friendships? So Akira likes to crossdress, is this what he's secretly been into?" Volts mulled over what had he witnessed.
Akira lied on the ground on all fours. Yao and Tao just patted him and said, "It's okay princess, you'll get another prince." Yao and Tao patted him with pity.
"PRINCE, MY BUTT!" Akira shouted, and Yao and Tao finally apologized. (Akira was about to say the word "ass," but he remembered they were children.)
Yao and Tao, with teary eyes, stared at the ground, and Akira went to the changing room to fix his appearance while also wiping his makeup in the bathroom.
"Damn this thing, why won't it come off? It hasn't been that long, it should've been fresh!"
Akira attempted to remove his makeup, but he was unable to do so and panicked. Akira ran to the cosmetics they gave to Akira. It turned out to be permanent lipstick. Akira pulled his hair in panic while looking in the mirror.
Akira washed it off with soap and it didn't work, so then Akira gave up. Akira was sitting there holding his knees. Akira couldn't be mad at them, otherwise, they would cry. Yao and Tao suddenly approached him and gave him a burger that Volts had just brought.
Akira ate the burger with a tired face. Tao felt bad, so she went through him. Akira was startled and shouted at her to get out. However, he felt happy for some reason. Tao then went out and made Akira very happy.
This mood of happiness it triggered was similar to a memory of an achievement that they never had. A very powerful effect that could blow the therapists business to the ground.
Akira had never felt so happy in his life and believed that it was her doing to control his feelings. He was amazed by how Tao could do it.
Akira sat down for a second and asked about their life stories because he felt curious about them.
Akira asked if they knew their parents; they responded that they didn't know. They were left on the street with no memory until they were found by Rozori.
They troubled Rozori by using their powers, so they wouldn't use them anymore until it was necessary. Akira asked them if they were aware of how they used it, and they nodded and said yes. Akira asked them if they could remember anything at all, but they couldn't.
They said they remembered how they spoke the languages and their twins, but couldn't remember when they woke up in a tiny card box.
Akira got confused while scratching his head. Yao and Tao finally remembered something. Yao and Tao were planning for Rozori to let them out and go to a place they remembered.
They were troubled because of this, so instead, they needed Akira's help. Akira nodded and stood up. Yao and Tao knew where it was, and they said it was outside Celesta.
Akira declined because he couldn't go outside, and Celesta and Tao said it was okay because Yao could teleport them.
Akira finally agreed and hoped it would work. They then teleported on their way to the Qiangwuenmountain...
