Although there was still a crowd at the nurse station, everyone was busy with their own affairs and seemed to have no interest in the three people standing in the middle or the luggage laid on the ground.
Even if no one else noticed, Dylan felt his face about to burn up from embarrassment. It was incredibly awkward, so he quickly moved next to Ivy to explain.
"Ivy, have you misunderstood something? Why wouldn't we want to come? Knowing you and mom were here, we really started packing right away and came here. We were in such a hurry that we certainly weren't showing any displeasure!"
Ivy dismissed those earlier words with contempt, knowing that Dylan was conscientious, but the words she had spoken earlier were not meant for Dylan. She was talking about George. How could he still not realize his problem?
