Vanla took out a document and a new work badge.

Billy also congratulated her, knowing that moving from a reserve member to an alternate member was akin to a carp leaping over the dragon gate—not just a change in status but, in a sense, becoming part of the core forces of the Federation.

Karina happily expressed her gratitude.

Shortly after, Karina and Venla walked out of the Biochemical Laboratory, and Venla said excitedly to Karina, "Hey, you've been promoted to an alternate member haha.
