"Mr. Cook! Mr. Cook!"
The servant's cry of alarm suddenly broke the silence at the dinner table.
"What's the matter? Can't you see I'm discussing business with Mr. Zhang?" Cook's tone instantly turned angry.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Cook, but... but those pets of yours..."
"What about them?" As soon as his pets were mentioned, Cook immediately grew tense.
Each of his pets was worth millions of dollars, and the cost of their upkeep over time was astronomical. Most importantly, each pet was unique. If one were to be injured or die, he would be absolutely heartbroken.

"I'll go take a look," Cook hurriedly put down his utensils and walked outside.
