Huo Yaozong looked at the red veins in Fu Yun's eyes, cracked a faint smile, and continued to fan the flames, "He's still not cautious enough, so easily letting others know his weakness. Without an elder to guide him, it's truly insufficient. You're his only elder; you should talk to him more often."
This struck a chord with Fu Yun, who vented with resentment, "He never listens to me, always thinking that I'm out to harm him."
Huo Yaozong asked, "He doesn't listen, so you just give up on him?"
Fu Yun's expression changed slightly, showing embarrassment. She did want to intervene, but the problem was she couldn't.
As things had developed to this point, Fu Yun deeply realized that Pei Ya truly did not want to acknowledge her. As to why she was still so persistent, Fu Yun couldn't say for what reason.
Perhaps it had become a habit, or maybe only by doing so could she find redemption.
