Drip, drip, drip—
The grating sound of the horn blared in the ears of everyone inside the car.
The brown-haired man sitting in the passenger seat looked up at the flashing lights ahead and the congested vehicles, then turned his head to glance at the black van next to him, marked with a Musicnote emblem, his brow slightly furrowed.
"What's wrong? Director?"
The driver beside the man looked at him with a hint of confusion in his gaze.
"Something's not right,"
The man rubbed his temples slightly, "Would he really wait for us at the City Defense Army command center, obediently?"
"You mean?"
The driver was slightly startled, asking in a low voice.
"Let's go back!"
In that moment, it seemed the man had realized something, and immediately spoke, "We're going back!"
"But we are currently—"
The driver glanced at the congested traffic in front and behind, then hesitated.
"Get out of the car!"
