'He wants vengeance, huh?' Jacob mused as he also wanted to laugh in derision since this might remain a wish of Soulless forever.
However, Jacob was also quite startled by what Soulless revealed about the Soulless Ghost Ancestor. This encounter with Soulless gave him a new view of treasures with Artifact Spirits.
Although they might be someone else's creations, the stronger they grow, the more real they become, and it was nothing but foolishness to underestimate them. They should only be loyal to their true owners, creators, and those beings with absolute power over them.
So, as long as one didn't gain complete control over such treasures, it would be wise never to trust them completely. The Divine Soulless Pagoda was a nefarious treasure, to begin with, but Jacob still hoped that Soulless would not sully the inheriting process since it was still an artifact.
