Although Maria tried to bring the idea of "saving the world" to the girls or "stopping all demons" to them as something they would be willing to do by her side, she knew it wouldn't be a thing.
They were too young and also knew their own limits and wouldn't just jump into something so dangerous on their own, knowing full well the strength of Nightmares as a whole.
"Ahhh… Yeah…" nodded Maria.
At the end, she knew that the girls couldn't really come with her to the last battle. But that was fine with her, as long as they were here they would be safe. And even if some sort of world-wide invasion happens, she knows they'll be strong enough to defend the island at least.
"The government, huh? I had not thought about that though…" Maria rubbed her chin. "But they would move too slowly for us to receive any significant help, wouldn't they? And without a lot of proof, they won't believe anything we say either… hmm."
