Chapter 6 - Destruction

In the mysterious realm of the fifth dimension, Wally sprinted desperately, his mission clear: find Captain Zector. The atmosphere crackled with an air of astonishment as onlookers observed his frenzied state.

"Where is Captain Zector?!" Wally implored, his voice betraying a sense of urgency.

"He's with Gantlik and Yor in the meeting room," a concerned defender responded.

Wally hurriedly arrived at the designated room, swiftly opening the door.

"Captain Zector, you need to send defenders to Viole and Tony's location immediately!" Wally blurted out, his face etched with fear.

"What's the matter? And why are you alone?" Yor inquired, her voice filled with curiosity.

"No time for explanations. Send the defenders to join Viole and Tony now!"

"Calm down and tell us what's happening," Gantlik interjected, attempting to restore order.

"No! There's no time!" Wally insisted, his voice laced with frustration.

"Silence yourself and take a seat. How can I be certain that you're the real Wally?" Captain Zector demanded, his face contorted into an intimidating glare.

"Damn it! Fine. They tricked us. I was defeated, and then they placed a device on me to neutralize my powers. Afterward, that damn Sam used another device to replicate my face," Wally confessed, desperation seeping into his voice.

"Is that a significant problem? We're talking about Viole and Tony here. They cannot be so easily deceived," Yor reassured.

"The deception lies elsewhere. Allow him to finish," Gantlik interjected, sensing the gravity of Wally's revelation.

"They possess a formidable weapon—a defender named Stark," Wally revealed.

A heavy silence enveloped the room, and Gantlik stood in stunned disbelief.

"Gantlik, call forth any available defenders, regardless of their classification. Yor and Wally, accompany me," Captain Zector commanded, his voice resolute.

"What?! That's it? Haven't you even verified my identity yet?" Wally protested.

"I already have," Captain Zector responded dismissively as he strode past Wally.

"This Catlin, despite killing her husband, still retains a shred of goodness in her heart. I should be grateful to her for sparing a valuable defender like Wally. Nonetheless, her actions will depend on the defender she faces. For instance, Captain Zector—she will stop at nothing to annihilate him, given that he was the one who took the life of her beloved. The same goes for Viole and Tony, who have slain numerous soldiers under her command. However, these emotions could prove to be a significant vulnerability for her in the future. But using Stark... Damn it!" Gantlik muttered, his hand pressed against his face in frustration.

"Back in Egypt..."

"The main dish? What an audacious name," Tony remarked.

A portal materialized, and a defender emerged—a tall, slender figure with white hair, appearing to be in his thirties.

"Viole, who the hell is that guy?" Tony queried, his tone tinged with apprehension.

Viole's countenance grew increasingly serious, a veil of determination falling over his face.

"Now, I believe I'll leave the two of you to deal with him. And don't forget, teamwork is crucial," Catlin declared, her voice tinged with a hint of vengefulness.

"So, you're willing to go this far for revenge. You truly are a creature driven by emotions," Viole retorted.

"That bastard!" Catlin seethed, her teeth sinking into her

lower lip.

"Defender, attack them! Ensure they do not leave this place alive!" Catlin commanded.

Stark lunged at Viole, but the nimble warrior effortlessly evaded the assault, evoking a sense of nonchalance. Viole swiftly summoned two gleaming white swords, launching a ferocious counterattack against Stark. The two defenders engaged in a frenzied duel, their movements defying comprehension.

"My God! I can barely follow their blinding speed with my own eyes. These individuals are no ordinary opponents," one of Catlin's soldiers remarked, awe-struck.

"I would relish seeing you butchered, but I have more pressing matters at hand!" Catlin snapped, her voice seething with anger.

Tony, attempting to strike at the fighters before they could escape, caught Catlin's attention. However, his attack merely left a superficial wound on her face. The revolutionaries made their hasty retreat from the scene.

"Damn it! I failed to sever her head. And what in the world is that creature?!" Tony exclaimed, his eyes fixed on the intense clash between Viole and Stark.
