As time went by Paige grew even uglier as different ugly spots appeared on her skin, her granny would always comfort her and say it wasn't her fault but because her mother had a sickness she too was affected. And her granny would always tell her to have a good heart and people would always like her.
However, society isn't what it seems. People mocked her for her looks and she has been falsely accused many times just because of how she looks. Society judged her attitude based on her appearance and not her heart.
Paige could do nothing but cry all the time. It seemed that the world just hated her and wanted her to suffer. At least she had her granny who loved her, but she died later on and left Paige alone when she was just 9 years old.
