Laston's expression darkened as he watched Aerchon join the fight. His grimace deepened. This was going to take longer than he had anticipated.
He had already expended a significant amount of energy summoning the five clones, and while they were fighting in his place, he needed more time to recover.
He thought with five version of himself it will be enough to kill Gulben. But now Aerchon had joined.
His crimson cybernetic eyes locked onto Aerchon, watching him move beside his father.
"Aerchon," Laston called out over the chaos, his voice laced with mockery. "Turns out I didn't hurt you badly enough!"
Aerchon and King Gulben ignored his taunt, their focus unshaken. They knew better than to be drawn into his games. Instead, they pressed their attack relentlessly, their swords flashing as they clashed against the clones.
One mistake, that was all it would take for Laston to turn the tide again. They wouldn't give him the chance.
