The Elf Palace was still focused on recovery. But right now, there was something even more important they needed to do. The wounded Elves had already received treatment and were now just waiting to heal. The dead had been buried with honor. So at present, King Fairon—who had been granted authority by King Gulben to temporarily govern the Elf Palace—had issued new orders.
Those orders were to deal with the corpses of the Ogres, Daemons, and the various kinds of metal constructs—remnants of Laston's army. Of course, King Gulben had approved this after Fairon consulted with him.
King Gulben also understood that uncovering the secrets behind the technology Laston had left behind would be crucial for their future. Even though, deep down, he resented those abominations, he couldn't deny the progress it might bring to their kind.
