Panic surged through her veins as she struggled against her captors, but they held her firm, their laughter echoing in the narrow alley. "Who sent you?" Su Anya questioned, her voice laced with desperation. "Why are you blocking my way?"
But her questions were met with only mocking laughter and taunts. The thugs exchanged knowing glances.
"B**h! I will teach you a good lesson," the thug threatened, raising his hand to hit Su Anya in anger after she had hit him before.
Su Anya swiftly dodged the incoming strike, but her rush caused her to trip over her foot, causing her head to hit the wall. To make matters worse, she felt a sharp pain in her ankle as she fell to the ground.
A pain shot through her like lightning, causing her to grit her teeth, and making tears hang from the corner of her eyes. She cursed her luck, 'I should have checked my fortune today before leaving home.' she muttered under her breath.
