The living beings outnumbered their opponents, but all were armed with primitive weapons and had almost no formal combat training; their fighting was fueled solely by passion. In contrast, the mechanical beings were well-equipped and well-trained, capable of achieving nearly perfect coordination with one another.
At first glance, there was a stark difference in combat power between the two sides, evident from the moment they first clashed. After a fierce confrontation along the front lines, the machines quickly took the initiative. The living beings, facing fierce artillery and various alchemical products, were clearly overwhelmed and their defenses were continuously breached.
However, the living beings had one advantage: they all possessed ample lifespans, allowing them to resurrect freely.
