Raenulf, Tavar, Yvonne and the young God were all sitting in the fiery Wolf's room, to call it a room was an understatement. It was more like a hall. It was made underground and had sturdy stone walls with steel beams as support. Several magical lamps floated around the room which provided illumination to everyone present. There was a wooden table at a corner with papers laying atop each other. There were also book cases fashioned inside the stone walls with several books kept inside them. All this was magically enchanted to withstand blow from a white cored individual.
Yvonne had already told Raenulf everything. They were sitting on wooden chairs with a table between them. Raenulf had served them some snacks, which was young God was hungrily munching on.
"So you want me to teach him what exactly?" He had everything but he didn't know what to do.
"We just wanted him to experience the world. He is still young and by teaching him our way of living and interaction, he would grow exponentially. He would gain many important skills and virtues from his stay here on Ionia." Yvonne once and explained as she sipped her tea.
"What role do I play in this?" He still was clueless as to what he was supposed to do.
"Just teach him anything you would teach your cubs, but keep his divinity in your mind. He is a God afterall" Tavar answered it and Raenulf nodded.
"I suppose, we can meet some of the other members of my pack. Are you ready to go, uhm Young one?"
"Wuht?" 'Young one' had his mouth full of cream biscuits as he saw Raenulf stand up from his chair. He gulped down some tea as he stood up too. The hot tea didn't burn his throat due to his body's enhanced heat and cold resistance.
"Enjoying the biscuits? It's my friend Idocia's recipe."
"Please thank her for me, it's so good." He had some crumbs on his face which Yvonne took care with her darkness magic.
"She's dead but I'm sure she would have given you more of these." His expression didn't change as he casually tossed around a dead friend's name. Being an immortal was an endless battle. With friends and family members dying left and right. White core people either dealt with the loss or went mad due to the emotional trauma.
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"It's okay. Now, prepare yourself. We are going to meet my great grandson in his home." Young God nodded and stood still as the arrays in the halls teleported all of them to in front of a cave.
The cave was surrounded by magical arrays which warded of any unwanted guests who dared to trespass. But they didn't harm Raenulf as he went inside the cave, others stood behind to not trigger the deadly traps.
Although their bodies were strong enough to resist any mortal wounds, they didn't want to seem like bad guests. So they stood anr waited for a while.
After about two minutes, Raenulf came out with another man who appeared to be in his mid twenties and had similar fiery red hair and even fiery eyes. His eyes held great excitement as he saw the Goddess who he had heard about many times from his grandfather.
"Hello, Teo. Missed your Uncle? Do you want to-" He was ignored as Teo started to introduce himself to the women he had heard most about.
"Hello my name Iteoulf. But you can call me Teo." He eagerly shaked the blonde Goddess' hand. Yvonne introduced herself and made small talk. She tried to answer each and every question ranging from,"Are you truly a God?" and to "Is it true that Uncle Tavar pestered you non-stop to marry him?" She giggled as Tavar was left unheard. As she finished up the flood of questions thrown at her and started to explain the real reason for her visit.
If Teo's mouth could open wider his jaw would be touching the ground. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"I can't believe that I get to teach a God. This would make for a great story." Magical creatures weren't usually the excited bunch. They rarely cared about things other than magical research and their territories but If they heard such a thing they would definitely jump at the opportunity.
"Hello, my name is Teo and I will do my best to teach you." Teo took hold of the young God's hand and started to shake it excitedly. The newborn was surprised to see the conversation land on him and almost yelped as the red head came upon him.
"We will monitor you closely so don't get too excited. Just teach him the rule of Wild."
'From what you tell me, I think the God council follows this creed to the very letter' Tavar told Yvonne through their mental link. She affirmed it.
"Don't worry about it. I'll take him to hunt." Teo held the young God's hand firmly and took him towards the thick forest.
"Wait!" Tavar walked to them and handed the young God a bracelet, "This will help you hide your mana presence."
"Thank you, Tavar." He just winked and returned back. He turned the bracelet around. I looked expensive because it had three mana crystals imbedded in the band. He wore it and felt his own presence shrink to his body.
After a while walking through dead leaves and rotting tree trunks, they came near a river where two dear like creatures were drinking water. Teo stood and silent.
"Watch closely because it's your turn next alright." He said while looking into his eyes.
"Mine? But I don't even know how to create weapons with aether, much less than mana."
Teo didn't answer as he went on his fours and turned into his wolf form. He had red stripes coating his grey fur.
"Watch and learn." As he said this, he jump from the foliage and went after the dear.
