With the addition of this group of Adventurers, the allied forces finally stabilized the situation a bit.
Not only are these Adventurers strong, but they also have a natural advantage — they cannot be resurrected as Undead.
Now that both sides had fully engaged in a massive melee, the focus of the war was undoubtedly on the battle of the Lich King. If the Lich King was defeated, the Scourge Legion would no longer be a threat.
As such, the three main leaders brought their elite forces to this location, and heroes from various Kingdoms and forces, including freelancers, also gathered around the battlefield. Although they didn't really expect to be able to steal the Lich King's kill, getting an assist and achieving the title of Hero of Salvation was also quite attractive.
That would be an impressive feat to boast about later.
