In Heaven
God's POV
Heaven was as peaceful as ever, filled with the presence of angels and goddesses. However, today was different. We had gathered for an important reason—to discuss the arrival of a pure-hearted baby blessed with extraordinary powers.
This child was special, unlike any other, and we needed to find the perfect parents. But that was no easy task. Choosing the right ones was crucial, for the baby's existence was rare, even by Heaven's standards. The fact that we were so concerned about this child showed just how important the decision was.
The air was filled with tension as the celestial beings awaited my decision. However, before I could make a final choice, I needed to hear their opinions.

Celestial Council
Goddess: "I think we should start looking for the baby's parents. It's our responsibility, after all. So let's begin."
I nodded in agreement but reminded them, "This isn't an ordinary baby. The child has already endured a cruel past, and we are all aware of that, right?"
The angels and goddesses nodded solemnly.
---
Angel: "Why not do what we always do? After all… aren't all humans good for the baby?"
I sighed at the angel's naïve statement.
Goddess: "You're right, but this baby needs truly loving and caring parents. We can't take any risks."
I added firmly, "There are many cruel humans on Earth, hiding behind innocent faces. If the wrong people find this child, they will cause harm. We cannot afford to make a mistake. Are we clear?"
The room filled with murmurs of agreement as everyone nodded.
---
Angel: "So, what's the solution?"
I took a deep breath before revealing, "I've already chosen a mother for the baby."
A heavy silence fell over the room as all eyes turned to me in shock.
---
Angel: "But didn't you say the baby would choose her own parents?"
I nodded. "Yes, and that's why I need you to listen carefully. I will tell the baby that I've chosen a mother, and if she accepts her, the problem is solved."
Goddess: "And what if the baby doesn't like her?"
A confident smile played on my lips. "That's impossible. I have chosen the right one."
---
Angel: "Okay, agreed. But what about the father?"
I hesitated before admitting, "I… I don't know yet. The girl I chose for the baby is… different."
Goddess: "Different? How so?"
I sighed. "I couldn't read her mind. It's as if she has shielded her thoughts."
A wave of surprise swept through the celestial beings.
---
Angel: "But that's never happened before!"
Goddess: "And what if she's a bad person?"
I reassured them, "I am certain she's good. But I need to find out why I can't read her mind. Of course, I can't read the baby's mind either—I gave the child a special power to protect her thoughts. But I believe this girl and the baby share some kind of connection."
I fell deep into thought. Could I have lost some of my own powers?
My contemplation was interrupted when an angel spoke up.
---
Angel: "But we still need to find a father."
I nodded. "I have a plan. We'll let the baby's mother choose her love. That's how it usually happens, right?"
Angel: "Yes, but the baby is too smart."** The angel smiled knowingly.
I chuckled. "That's why I'll show the baby the mother's life. A bond will naturally form, and along the way, we may uncover the reason behind the girl's… uniqueness."
The goddess and angel exchanged glances before nodding.
---
Goddess: "Alright, we'll try it. But be careful—the baby possesses incredible powers."
Angel: "And we must protect the child from humans who wish to cause harm."
I sighed. "I know this won't be easy, but I must go now and speak to the baby."
As I prepared to leave, an angel asked, "Can we meet the baby?"
I shook my head. "Not yet. Maybe soon."
Goddess: "We understand. But can you tell us more about the baby's powers?"
I replied, "The child retains some old memories. That's all I know for now. We will have to wait and see."
As I turned to leave, the goddess's voice stopped me.
Goddess: "You said the girl you chose and the baby share a connection?"
I nodded. "Yes, they do."
With that, I walked away, heading toward the baby's place.

At the Baby's Place
Just as I arrived, a playful voice rang out from behind me.
Baby: "Gotcha! Hehehe! Aren't you scared, old man?"
I turned around to find the baby grinning mischievously.
God: "Ah, where have you been, little one?"
The baby giggled. "Umm… with my friends! Want to see them?"
I frowned slightly, confused. Friends? No one else was allowed here besides me.
The baby pointed to the clouds.
Baby: "See that tiny one? That's Cherry! And that one on the side is Mouse! And that big—"
I chuckled, realizing the child was just imagining friends. This baby was lonely.
God: "Haha, so they're your friends, huh?"
Baby: "Hmm… But why am I here? You told me you'd find my mom and dad. Do you know how lonely I feel?"
The baby pouted, making my heart ache.
God: "I know, dear. Well, I've chosen your mom."
The baby's face lit up with excitement.
Baby: "Really?! Let's go! What are you waiting for?"
The sheer excitement in her voice made me laugh.
God: "You can see her, but you can't go to her just yet. Soon, though."
The baby's smile faltered, replaced by confusion.
Baby: "Why not? I thought you were sending me to her."
I met the child's innocent gaze.
God: "Do you know why you're here?"
The baby tilted her head. "Umm… No?"
I smiled gently.
God: "Let's just say… you have a choice to make."
The baby blinked curiously.
Baby: "A choice?"
I nodded, watching her face carefully before revealing—
God: "You get to choose… your dad!"
Baby: "WHAT?!"
Her eyes widened in shock.
