With a loud groan, Lee stretched his body to relax his tight muscles. He jumped several times before sighing.
"I'm getting old..."
"Do you think we could work on me getting ranked up?" Gerard asked.
"Do you think now's the time to ask that?" Sprite replied.
Lee laughed and coughed, the damage from the bishop taking its toll.
"Maybe if you survive what's coming," Lee said.
"What's coming?"
"The shit's raining down on you now, and you're gonna need to stay ahead of this."
"Then what are we doing at the guild?" Gerard asked.
"The entire city is going to be up in arms trying to kill you now. It was easy for them to ignore the king when they saw nothing to make you seem like the dangerous traitor they made you out to be. But now, after you snuck into the city and a giant demon killed thousands, this won't be something they forget."
"So, what are you saying? I should run?"
"Yes, but not anywhere here. We've got somewhere else lined up for you to go."
