It's been two weeks now and Ace hasn't heard anything from the person he sent to look for Maya.
Did Amber really succeed in killing Maya? Why wasn't the man bringing him any response? Has he been discovered by Damian? Was he in police custody?
Ace sat on the bed motionless as the doctor dressed his wound. He was so deep in thoughts that he couldn't even feel any pain.
Just then his phone screen lit up and he checked and realized it was a message from Julio, the man he sent to search for Maya. He quickly opened the message and a sigh of relief escaped his lips as he stared at the photo.
Just then, Amber walked in.
"Your plan failed Amber, Maya didn't die. She's safe and sound," Ace said with a mocking smile as he watched Amber's face pale and her eyes widen.
"How? Why? You hurt her and I also stabbed her so how the fuck is she still alive?"
"I had someone check every hospital here and the person just sent me this," Ace said showing Amber a picture on his phone.
