Holy Calendar 1445, December, the Castel Domain welcomed the first snow since the onset of winter.
As a coastal earldom, Castel did not receive snow every year, but the climate this year was noticeably colder than usual. The cascading snowflakes fell from the sky, speckling the earth with dots of white.
Five days had passed since Charlotte awoke, and the Legris Family's rebel army was still stationed upstream of the Don River. They seemed to have forgotten their mission to continue the assault, showing no intention of crossing the river, even establishing a long-term camp on the North Shore.
Outside North Port, the noble forces gathered from various places were fully prepared, with tents large and small set up along the banks on one side of the Castel Bridge, stretching as far as the eye could see.
On the coastline, ship transport was busier than usual, with cargo ships leaving the docks of North Port almost every moment, while new ships folded their sails and entered the port.
