Looking at Nisi's righteous appearance, Charlotte didn't expose its little scheming.
She smiled slightly, nodding in agreement:
"Not bad."
"The Blood Demon Duke has committed countless crimes; any righteous person would not share the sky with them..."
"If that's the case, as my servant, a righteous Black Cat, it's up to you to step forward and do what you can for the cause of justice."
"Uh... Eh? Me?"
Nisi was suddenly stunned.
Charlotte glanced at it sidelong:
"Why? Don't you want to?"
"Um... Well, Lord Charlotte, I'm just a poor little kitty locked away..."
Nisi weakly protested.
Charlotte looked at it expressionlessly, letting it continue to play the victim.
Being stared at silently by Charlotte's deep, reddish-gold eyes, Nisi felt even more pressure than when it faced Odosia just a moment before.
Finally, it fell before Charlotte's piercing gaze, looked away unnaturally, and sighed as if resigning to fate:
"Fine, Lord Charlotte, what do you want me to do?"
