The monkeys collected fruits from the mountains, piling them up. The fruits at the bottom, squeezed by the weight of the ones above, burst and produced fruit juice. Meanwhile, the upper fruits blocked oxygen, causing the juice to react with the wild yeast attached to the fruit skins and turned into wine.
This was the so-called Monkey Wine, which, in Yila's previous world, along with Selene's Spine Correction Garments and the supposedly dementia-preventing Brain Blue Gold, was heavily hyped.
But at least Monkey Wine was still regular wine... fruit wine.
The taste seemed to have a kind of fresh fragrance.

Yila lightly sniffed the somewhat murky fruit wine inside the tree hole, pushed the fruit aside and threw it to the ground, then dabbed a little to taste it… it was worth mentioning that the Governor did not drink alcohol.
