Watching the tendrils on the cave wall, Charles hesitated for a moment before reaching out to touch them.
"Whoosh!" The tentacle suddenly came to life, extending from the wall and dragging Charles toward it with a death grip.
"Help! Quick!!" Charles shouted loudly, but his distant companion seemed oblivious, still joking and sharing equipment.
Desperately struggling, Charles couldn't break free, and soon most of his body was dragged into the cave.
"Bang!" Charles ripped off the VR glasses and threw them against the opposite wall.
Trembling, he stared at the glasses shattered into pieces on the floor.
Just then, his body jerked violently, and the tentacle image on the wall moved slightly.
"No, something's not right, I don't like this, disappear quickly!" Charles closed his eyes painfully, clutching his head.
When he opened his eyes again, he found himself back in his cozy bedroom.
His sister was lounging on the sofa, playing with her phone while watching TV.
