Charles's pupils constricted slightly upon hearing this. After spending so many years in Earth Sea, it was the first time he'd heard of such a shocking occurrence.
Thinking about all the indigenous people he had seen mingling with humans, all sorts of obscene images surfaced in his mind.
"Charles, you have to believe me, in the Mist Sea, towering giants over three meters tall are just the norm. The deeper you go, the more unimaginable and disgustingly vomit-inducing beings you find—they are no longer human!"
"Why do they do that?" Charles furrowed his brow.
"I don't know, maybe it has something to do with the messy gods they worship. My grandfather saw them worshipping something when he was young."
Elizabeth walked up to Charles, grabbed his arm, and stared at him intensely, "Never get involved with them; their evil goes beyond this. They also buy slaves, and no one knows what they do with humans, but I don't think it's just for sacrifices."
