The next moment, everything turned black for the demon, as his vision swam and his head spun, before he felt himself reappear inside an empty room.
He recognized this plane and the energy that composed it and started laughing to himself.
"Ha… Ha ha… HAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Standing up with reinvigorated aplomb, he looked around, searching for the telltale light of the inside of a mortal's mind. Finding it in the distance, he dashed toward it, yelling at his would-be captor.
"You stupid mongrel! Trapping me inside your own mind is the stupidest thing you could have ever done to a demon's soul, hahaha! Now, I will take you from the inside and let you kill your own loved ones!"
He ran for a minute before realizing the light wasn't getting closer.
'How big is this darned place?' he wondered, getting a weird chill down his spine.
And the next second, something strange happened.
The light got even further.
