(General P.O.V)
Mid talk with the Ancient One, before Ash could give her an answer, she was called away on duty. Ash didn't know what it was, she had just smiled at him and told him to quote on quote, 'stay fresh' and wait to be shown to his room. The same corny thing his swimming coach always used to say minus the last part.
It was a testament of his hunger for something familiar that the words eased him. They made him less tense as he followed behind Master Hassani, even though the looks he was getting from the apprentices and sorcerers in training was less than welcoming. Which was a damn shame because their style of fighting was really something to watch. Their coordination was on point.
Master Hassani had then cleared his throat and Ash had quickly followed behind him. The Sorcerer had shown him into what was going to be his new room. It was small with only a bed, a small reading table and a lantern. On top of that, it was dusty.
However to Ash, it was somewhere stable. Maybe it was time to chill for a bit before doing another loop mission. Infact, he had a vacation waiting for him right? Maybe he could use that chance to unwind. Enjoy the benefits of being a Planeswalker, something he had not had the luxury to do.
"Hey, where is the shower..."
Master Hassani was already out of the door, banging it close in Ash's face before the teen could complete the question.
"Right."
The teen muttered, turning around, only to see the last sparks from a portal disappear in the air. On the bed was a clean set of clothes. 2 pairs of apprentice uniforms and a towel with toiletries on top.
Ash discovered the shower by simply being more observant. There was a brown door that almost seemed to blend in with the walls of the room. He picked up the rough towel and cleaned himself, taking longer than was needed in the cold bathtub.
Ash came out toweling his hair and was met with a plate of food and a glass of orange juice. Which seemed out of his place in the almost mediaeval setting. Kamar-Taj was very isolated. Once dry, he wore the clothes provided to him and the feeling of clean clothes rubbing against his skin felt almost heavenly. Then his belly reminded him that he hadn't had anything to eat since Bleach.
The meal was something he had never had before. A sort of soft meat and pancake prepared with many spices. Instead of tasting bad, it was really good. Though there's a good chance his hunger added to the taste of the food.
Ash was well fed, had taken a shower and was not fighting for his life or destroying friendships. Things were generally much quieter and he liked it that way. The evening sun was just setting and when he opened his window, the view from outside stole his breath away.
Ash sighed after watching the whole thing for a half hour or so, until the sun dipped across the horizon, casting his room in deep darkness. Kamar-Taj grew even quieter as the lessons of the day were completed. There were still night lessons but Ash had no way of knowing that.
The teen walked over to the Lantern and looked around for a match, only to come up empty. That was until he remembered he wasn't completely useless. He reached towards his neck and unclasped his necklace. The plasma sword which was now almost 20 inches in length from the hilt, buzzed as he activated it. The entire room was awash in light.
He frowned, the length was a bit too much for what he wanted to do. Ash focused on the blade and willed for it to grow shorter, back to the size of it's original form, the plasma knife. The blade instead shot up in length, becoming thinner and stabbing into the floor below the only table in the room. Ash was caught of guard and jerked his hand.
The blade slashed upwards, separating the table into two parts. Both parts fell on either side as he winced at the damage. He hadn't even been here for a day and he was already wrecking things. He deactivated the plasma sword and before activating it, he visualized the effect he wanted.
A short purple plasma blade only 4 inches long extended out of the handle. He lit the lantern using it and stepped back as the flame inside danced gently in the air.
Ash sat on his bed and looked at his weapon. He felt like he hadn't even scratched the surface of what it could do. There was so much more to uncover about his abilities. He was determined to get to the root of all his questions. What had the Hogyoku done to him?
Before any of that could be answered however, Ash needed to check out the rewards from the system as well as the next loop mission he had almost initiated.
He pulled up the Ouroboros Interface.

His Temporal Units had gone up by 9 points for completing the previous loop mission in 2 loops. He was keen on raising that number. Having one more loop left incase he failed the rest would be a life saver.
Ash was even more excited about the rewards he received from the mission. He didn't waste time and immediately clicked on the first reward.

The first skill was on first sight useless but if you paid close attention you would realize that it was invaluable to Ash. He needed to connect with his abilities and a skill that would make that process easier was more than welcome.
The Zanjutsu manual was funnily enough just that. A manual that materialized from thin air and landed on his lap. The manual was not extensive. It was thin, more akin to a pamphlet that displayed how to hold a Zanpakuto and other basic moves. Chaining those moves in different variations to attack, dodge, parry and defend seemed to be the way to go. At the end of the pamphlet were a few moves showing some combinations.
Ash had thought that the moves would be imprinted into his mind but it turned out that the Ouroboros Interface gave out rewards according to the difficulty of the mission. Saving Quicksilver was a matter of being in the right place at the right time. With only 10 loops to complete the mission, even the Interface knew it wasn't something too difficult.
The next loop mission was also displayed on the Interface and from the start, Ash knew that this would be his toughest mission yet. His eyes trailed down and looked at the rewards. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

Commence Loop?

Revive the Bleach universe? That made no sense! Why would Bleach need to be revived? What could have happened? Was it...his eyes widened. Could it be Aizen? Oh no. He must have been closely monitoring Urahara and come across his and Ash's talk. Or Urahara must have messed up somewhere and that ultimately ended with a fierce battle with Aizen and his Arrancars. A battle that destroyed everything.
The other possibility was that Ichigo could have died. And that outcome ended up with the destruction of the entire universe. All these speculations went through Ash's mind, one after the other. The truth was that there was no way for him to actually know the exact details about what had happened, so he stopped speculating and decided to do something about it. Get strong enough to bring the Bleach Universe back. And that begun by diving into his soul space and understanding what was up with his powers.
The first time using HyperFocus was as easy as willing for it to activate. The world fell away and Ash felt himself sink through the layers of the physical world and into his soul.
(Helicarrier)
"Ok, can someone please tell me what just happened?"
Fury ground out, smashing a fist onto the table in the middle of the room.
"What happened between Cesar and Brutus, Jesus and Judas. We were betrayed. Simple and clear."
Tony answered, out of his suit but nursing a fractured wrist. His forearm was placed in a cast.
"It can't be that simple."
Black Widow pitched in. Tony threw his hands in the air in frustration before wincing at the action.
"Nat is right." Cap spoke up, every eye naturally gravitated towards him.
"Ash must have believed that what he was doing was the right thing."
"How is aiding a genocidal robot escape the right thing to do?"
Fury questioned in disbelief.
Piotr snorted.
"He didn't escape. I saw it."
Now it was his turn to be placed under their questioning glances.
"Ah come again. I don't think I heard you clearly."
Fury told him.
The Scarlet Witch threw a slightly miffed expression towards her brother, who shrugged.
"What? They were going to find out eventually."
"Find out what?"
Hawkeye wondered, as did everybody what exactly they were hiding.
Wanda, upon noticing the impatient looks on their faces, finally answered.
"I pulled Ultron apart, piece by piece, before they could completely escape. I felt him die. It's safe to say that wherever they ended up, Ultron was dead upon his arrival."
