While Andrew enjoyed his time of pleasure and lust with his wives, Crhono had traveled to the beastmen's meadow to meet with the council of his race. These were the same elders he had told Andrew, Aqua, and Terra about when they were in Comers City.
While these elders had already told Crhono that they could use the body of the deceased god at their disposal, he had to see if they still held that mindset. In this world, everyone seeks divinity, and there was no better way to achieve it than with the remains of a god.
So, while these elders had told Crhono that it would be fine, the human mind is fickle. Perhaps when the elders of the beastmen's council visited Crhono, they had agreed to make sacrifices for the common good; perhaps they would now change their minds, so Crhono wanted to be sure.
