"I-Izumi!?"
Sasuke said, shocked by the sudden appearance of Izumi.
She was bigger than he knew, but that was because of age. The most striking change was her skin being eerily pale, and her eyes being snake-like yellow eyes with purple markings near them.
Regaining composure, he put his kunai in front of himself.
"So, you are Orochimaru?"
Sasuke asked, fearing for the worst. It really seemed like Orochimaru has taken over Izumi. And even if that wasn't the case, last time, she tried to kill him.
Naruto created a hundred Shadow Clones, and started making some preparations.
Izumi shook her head.
"No. It's really me. Izumi. Want proof-"
Before she could finish her sentence, a purple Susanno sword emerged from Sasuke, with some sort of white chakra covering it. The sword stabbed her, but phased through her body instead of doing any physical damage.
Izumi puffed away, signifying a shadow clone.
"Oh? So you have awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan huh?"
A voice came from above, and Sasuke's eyes transformed into the Mangekyo Sharingan pattern.
'Amaterasu!'
But, that fire was useless. It was just another clone.
The Amaterasu hit the surrounding trees, and the forest started burning, Amaterasu spreading everywhere.
"You shouldn't use Fire Release in a forest indiscriminately, Sasuke."
Izumi's voice came from all around Team 7.
The trees started moving, branches shooting towards them, taking care of Naruto's shadow clone surrounding them.
Sasuke fainted from chakra exhaustion on the spot, glancing at Naruto before his world went dark.
"You really enjoy toying with genins, don't you? If you are a Kage level ninja, enough with your tricks!"
Naruto shouted, placed Sasuke and Hinata over his shoulders, and started running. Sasuke because he is out of commission, and Hinata because she is too slow.
Izumi wasn't in sight even with Hinata using her Byakugan in full capacity, and they were getting chased by snakes.
Naruto continued making Shadow Clones in combination of Transformation Jutsu along with their sents, spreading out in all directions, trying to confuse the enemy.
As the Amaterasu continued spreading, trees randomly attacking, they took off into the sky once again.
At the same time, 300 Naruto Shadow Clones with transformed clones were in the sky.
'It's time to test that move!'
They thought, and made the same handsigns. It's a Hokage level jutsu that Kakashi gave Naruto just because he asked. Though mastering it was upto him with occassional advice from Kakashi.
It's not at the level of the Hokages yet, but it should do the job.
'Barrier: Multi-Red Yang Formation!'
A variation of 'Four Red Yang Formation' barrier that was even able to contain the Ten-tails in combination of Hashirama's diety gates.
Currently, Naruto doesn't have the chakra reserves similar to Tobirama due to suppressing Kurama's seal. While he has more than Hiruzen, it is still less than Minato.
But, his chakra regeneration is unmatched, except for Hashirama in his prime.
By his main body coordinating with the shadow clones, he can continuously maintain the barrier for a long time. While not strong enough to contain the Ten-tails, or even a perfect Susanno, it is still enough to contain Izumi/Orochimaru, taking into account that she/he whatever may have an incomplete Susanno.
Several of Naruto's shadow clones have dug into the ground using Earth Release to ensure that the attacker can't escape from the ground.
Ideally, with Amaterasu spreading in the Entire Forest of Death, the opponent might burned to death.
Even if the opponent has the Fire Seal, which is most likely the case, even air can't escape from the barrier. So, suffocation is a possibility, along with the poisonous gasses produced by the burning of the Forest.
Yet, the barrier is still not perfect. As the cracks appeared, several Naruto's Shadow Clones used Great Fireball Jutsu from outside the cracks and inside the barrier, boosted by Great Windwave Jutsu, along with the enormous chakra to push those combination jutsus to the S-rank.
As Izumi and Orochimaru from inside her body watched in amazement and terror, they found a weak point in the barrier, directly above 300m from their position. There was the most oxygen.
Izumi rushed to that position, wings erupted from her back as she flowed towards that direction. Naruto who stood on the top center of the barrier trying to maintain it, quickly created a Shadow Clone and it rushed to the direction to close the rupture.
But, just as she was about to escape, Naruto's shadow clone let out a smirk.
Seeing the clouds above, having lightning cackle, fire below, Izumi gulped as she flew at full speed to escape.
But, that smirk made Naruto look like a Demon King in both her and Orochimaru's eyes. Orochimaru realised that Naruto is much more scary than Itachi. He had shrugged off the genjutsu from even the Mangekyo Sharingan. And now, he was about to do something terrible.
Naruto's Shadow clone has already performed all but one necessary handsign.
Lightning emerged in Naruto's Shadow clone's hand, and, the clouds' natural lightning followed his lead.
That crack was intentional. All for using this jutsu for the first time.
"Domain Expansion: Total Annihilation."
All the lightning crashed straight on Izumi.
The Fire and Lightning. The highest form of lightning release jutsu, combined with the highest form of Fire Release, Amaterasu, and several S-rank fire-waves, and the Hashirama trees, all met inside the barrier.
The attackpower was comparable to Kurama's fully charged Bijuudama. Blasted within a barrier.
The entire Forest of Death was obilerated, turned to ashes.
The main Naruto on the top of the barrier puffed away, revealing that it was actually a Shadow Clone.
The moment Izumi's attention has been diverted towards the main crack, Naruto, with the two teammates on his shoulders, one a deadweight and the other who helped him speeding up setting up the clouds, had escaped.
The four other teams, and the jonins in the main tower in center of the Forest of Death, gulped in fear. The barrier that has been set-up by Naruto to protect the tower has held up.
But, all the scrolls were now with him, obtained by his Shadow Clones jumping the other teams, swiftly knocking them out, and throwing them into the tower.
The Sixth scroll that was hidden in the forest has been destroyed along with the forest itself.
The sole winner of the second stage of the Chunin Exam: Team 7.
