Discerning that the little girl might want to go back to a safe, familiar, and comfortable place, Caius tried to console her by patting the top of her head.
Venera nodded but shook her head side to side soon after.
"I do want to go back early, but I know that my brother needs to finish dealing with the things here before we can go back," the little girl said. "Therefore, I have to wait for my brother to finish taking care of the things here before we can all go back together."
With that said, Venera gave Caius a big, bright smile. The little human girl has that aura around her that unconsciously draws people in, and her smile… her smile is the most dazzling thing in his eyes. Even the sun pales in comparison to it. Literally, or perhaps it was just that the dark, pregnant clouds that hovered in the sky had covered the sun, and therefore the sun was not bright anymore because there was no more sun as far as the eyes could see.
