Jirawut woke up in Galena's bedroom. They were naked under the covers and cuddling each other. Galena kissed him and smiled at him. "Good morning," she says.
"Morning, my love."
Jirawut saw her round belly and touch it gently.
"When will you give birth?"
"Next month it might be the same day as Kari and Yathra," Galena said.
Jirawut smiled at her. "That's wonderful news," he said. "I can't wait to meet our child."
Galena smiled back at him. "I'm excited too," she said. "I just hope everything goes well."
Jirawut hugged her tightly. "Don't worry," he said. "I will be there for you every step of the way."
Galena leaned into his embrace and closed her eyes. "I know you will," she said. "You always have been."
They stayed in bed for a while longer, enjoying each other's company and talking about their plans for the future. Eventually, they got up and got dressed for the day, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
