Two days later, Chu Yao was incredibly busy, and Nan Jiaojiao only met her once, at Mist Garden.
When Chu Yao looked for her, Nan Jiaojiao was on her way to Mist Garden, carrying two bottles of fine Shochu Liquor packed in jars the size of two fists, tied with a red string at the mouth, clinking loudly as she walked.
Not long after hanging up the phone, Nan Jiaojiao had just sat down at the dining table, and before she could chat with Jiang Yu, Chu Yao arrived.
She also brought two jars of liquor.
Everyone knew Jiang Yu's preferences: smoking, drinking, meat, vegetables—nothing was off-limits, and she preferred loose liquor, while the cellared ones were just for show.
Jiang Yu flipped open a jar and directly served it in bowls.
"Come, come, one bowl each. We'll refill once we're done."
