*~*Lyssa's POV*~*
We stepped out of the SUV and into the bright lights of the covered circular drive. Walking around the car and taking the valet ticket, I wrapped my arm around Warrick's and smiled up at him. I needed to remain calm and collected. I couldn't let him sense my nerves at all.
Honestly, I probably looked a little too assertive just now. Not that this was a bad thing. I mean, I was the one that was making this happen, so I guess that I was being assertive. And I was assuming things as well. I didn't even know if he wanted to be with me yet. I didn't know if he wanted to make this happen tonight or if he wanted to wait for a different time.
UGH! I needed to stop thinking in circles like this. I needed to make sure that I was showing how sure of myself I was. And that I wanted this, because I truly did. If I acted nervous and worried, he would think that it was the wrong time. No, it was the right time, and we needed to do this. I couldn't wait much longer.
